Can't We All Just Get Along? Short Answer...NO, And You Are Stressing Me Out

So, in the insane family of which this writer is a member, there is a great disturbance in the force that must be dispatched before I write anything else.  See, there's an internal war going on among the people who share my DNA who also happen to be EJs on the Myers-Briggs Personality Assessment.  Being an IP myself (INFP with ISFP traits), the yelling, screaming and hysteria is getting old.  The reason being is that some of us have to have a clear head to create, and the family drama is clouding things worse than five shots of my favorite Irish whiskey.

The argument is pretty much over one member not knowing how to communicate.  That particular member of the clan does not live near by, but still has the rest of us hopping, and now arguing amongst ourselves. And just like the antagonist in this play pointed out of the rioters in Oakland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, etc., we are now eating our own.

Some days....

Some days, we creative types who really do not fit in office cultures and prefer to create for a living need peace and quiet to do that.  Family fights and arguments are not conducive to success in that arena.  It is not supportive of the creators to have the people around us constantly interrupting and not bringing ordered thoughts to the table.

Of course, at least one of these people cannot bother to hang their keys on the hook in the kitchen, so maybe there's not a darn thing that can be done about it.

And still the laundry needs to be done.
