I don't know about anyone else, but I am so ready for Tuesday, November 8. I mean, seriously, every television show is infested with political ads. Living in a television market that straddles two states' borders, we get two states' worth. Caller ID tells the tale of poll calls. In our household, we no longer take them. The news out there is all about who is ahead without any truly thinking people believing the validity of any of it. After all, most conservatives who read Sundance at The Last Refuge are onto the gaslighting that is the mainstay of the dinosaur media.
Most of all, though, I'm tired of the same old, same old of the political news stories that permeate the airwaves and bandwidth. As of this writing, we are up to 31 Podesta email releases from WikiLeaks with one scandal after another uncovered. The only one that seemed to get much attention was the possibility of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia being murdered by Hillary's people. (People who peak espionage-ese claim that the contract hit cost someone out there $15 million.) James O'Keefe of Project Veritas has put out one damning example after another of the corruption and collusion of the establishment - particularly the Democrats - and very few seem to be paying attention. Trump rally after Trump rally filled to the gills with every day Americans are ignored in favor of Hillary Clinton gatherings that attract very few people....
Are we there yet?
Seriously, when will this be over.
Will the election be rigged?
Will the people REALLY speak?
Will those in power REALLY listen?
Guess we'll find out.
